At the first time, Dúo de la Muerte was just a short-term pass time project imagined by couple of strapping young lads from Ruma, Serbia. Those two guys were Damir a.k.a. Grandpa (Vocal/Drums) and Nesha (Guitar). Their one and only rehearsal took place in May 2004, at Damir's apartment, and was perpetuated for the next generations by the miracle of tape recorder. The recorded tracks were the material for their self-titled EP. It contained 4 tracks of old school hardcore music with parody themes and hate-style lyrics. Year or so later, bass guitar enthusiast Zyel a.k.a. Bunny, who was familiar with DDLM’s work, had a fixation on annoying people on cultural manifestations, and proposed to Damir to reunite the band. This idea was well accepted, but Nesha seemed a bit skeptic about whole thing and decided not to participate. Couple of days later Zyel asked Vanja to join DDLM as vocalist, which he accepted with delight. They had their first rehearsal and first engagement reservation on April 8th 2005. Their first gig took place at Hi-Fi Tiffany club in Ruma on April 29th 2005 with two more local bands: Mentally Whipped and Military Club. They performed their 15 new songs and managed to make audience totally furious! Finally, on July 8th 2005 Nesha reunites with DDLM because he realized that he has nothing better to do, and since then, this crew is responsible for the atrocities on their shows… User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional
