There are at least two German music groups named Die Firma: 1. Die Firma is a German hip-hop group that was formed in 1996. The members are Daniel Sluga (also known as Fader Gladiator), Ben Hartung (also known as Def Benski Obiwahn), and Alexander Tarboven (also known as Tatwaffe). Before the formation of Die Firma, Sluga operated the label Blitz Vinyl, which also released material by Hartung as part of the group ÄI-TIEM. Sluga was additionally active with the crew C.U.S. Hartung and Tarboven had already collaborated in a project named Das Duale System prior to forming Die Firma. The group released their debut double album "Spiel des Lebens / Spiel des Todes" in early 1998 through their self-established label LaCosaMia. The album received positive critical reception and achieved commercial success, marking their breakthrough in the German hip-hop scene. The single "Kap der guten Hoffnung" brought them broader public attention. Subsequent albums such as "Das 2. Kapitel", "Das Dritte Auge", and "Krieg und Frieden" were also successful, with their second studio album selling around 80,000 copies. Die Firma describes their musical concept as "Lyrics über Beats repräsentieren Gut und Böse" (lyrics over beats represent good and evil). This theme of dualism, inspired by concepts such as yin and yang, is a recurring motif throughout their discography. Their songs explore topics such as love, war and peace, fears about the future, and competitive rap tracks. One of their most well-
