Die Emergency started out in late 2006 after Simon Marks (ex Lucida Console) had spent some time away from bands after his decision to break away from 'The Lucida Console'. After a very brief phone call to Kevin McGonnell (ex...robots) the decision was made to get into the rehearsal space and start writing as soon as possible. A few months would go by while Kevin would relentlessly harass his former band mate Samuel Francis (ex...robots/Send More Paramedics) to come and play bass. Eventually Sam gave in and became the 3rd member of Die Emergency. A year would go by until Die Emergency would find their second guitarist in Adam O'Grady-Marshall (ex HHH/Airstrip One), which gave the band a much needed change of dynamics. Since then, Die Emergency have recorded one demo and have just recently finished their second EP “bare your teeth like the animal you are” which sees a more aggressive side to their song writing.
