Demer di is a name in the language of Tatars from steppes in Central Asia. It means "The Valley of Hallucinations". A legend exists that a blacksmith once lived in the valley, who chose to create a new race, superior to humans. Yet he was so devoted to his work that he collapsed before he turned his newly forged statues alive. Those statues remained in the valley and since then they drain souls of passers-by... Demer di is a progressive rock band from Warsaw, Poland, Europe. It exists since the end of 2002. Demer di combines multiple genres into one stream of complicated, intriguing music. A caleidoscope of sounds, long, baroque compositions, truly progressive work inspired by masters of the genre like King Crimson, Tool, Marillion, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree...
