Deciphering Stars is a one man's, Mustapha Kamel, Ambient/Post-rock/Experimental /noise/drones and whatnot from Cairo. The whole process wasn't in fact anything before the beginning, nothing but a bunch of recorded ideas on a laptop. Taking in consideration the forces - inspiring forces- that helped push the whole thing into being that thing would've always remained nothing*. The idea or the concept behind this project is to go beyond the normal guitar sounds, to create textures with them, let them react with one another, like chemistry. However the mediocrity of some sounds might present itself in some of the tracks, but it's always accompanied with the thought of reacting/merging those sounds with one another conceiving new sounds, with a little bit of an edge of weirdness. The project released 2 albums thus far, Unidimensional, which most of it was based on nothing but improvisation and revisited ideas. The other was an EP which was released with Unidimensional, it was the tracks recorded during the period of recording Uni. but more raw in-sound. * The whole Thing was more or less some sort of a creative exercise.
