Debra Bethell Romer is a local Kalamazoo, Michigan singer/songwriter. She started writing songs and playing guitar when she was 16 years old. She entered the 2010 America's Got Talent competition and performed a rendition of "Angel", by Sarah Mclachlan, for the judges which put her through to the next round. She then performed a cover of "Foolish Games" by Jewel. That performance was enough to boost her into the top 48 contestants to advance to Hollywood and perform live in which she will find out if she is able to get enough votes from people watching all across America to advance even further in the competition.
