Dear Laura is a Swedish band formed in 2021. The members of Dear Laura played together in the early 2000's but then parted ways musically - still being good friends throughout the years. In 2021, during the pandemic, the members started playing again and soon the new project "Dear Laura" was set in motion. With a strong backbone in rock and alternative music the band mixes melodious chord progressions with loud guitars and hard hitting drums. A few months after the band started playing together again they released their first EP “Mountains pt. 1” witch was written in a cabin in the Swedish mountains - hence the title. In the spring of 2022 the band started the recording of the follow up to “Mountains pt. 1”. First single “Hallways” was released in July 2022 and second single "Ridicule" was released November 11th. Third, and final, single "Do You Know (how it feels to be alone)" dropped on December 23 and the entire EP was released March 31st 2023. In September 2023 the band released the single "Just A Moment" and as of now they are working on their upcoming releases.
