AuKUS was formed in Los Angeles with the goal of producing a defined, exceptional sound to compliment rock, alternative, and metal music. The band is comprised of Jason Baxter (vocals/guitar), Jon Costner (bass), and Sean Shahzad (drums). They build their empire upon a foundation of emotional sincerity through their lyrics, vocal melodies, and deterministic musical compositions. Being motivated by many different genres of music, the inspiration for the name AuKUS (signifying a combination of elements that, when put together, form a new and unorthodox blend) came from the diverse musical and personal backgrounds of each member.
