De Baron is a Dutch collective of seven or eight that produces a passionate cocktail of art rock, brass punk and 'urban Balkans sounds'. Fronted by Pascal van der Hulst, De Baron has roots in the Twente region of the eastern Netherlands (and frequently mentions the area in lyrics), but they are now based in Utrecht. Their debut single, 'Martelaarschap', came out in 2017. The group also released three full-length studio albums thus far: BenBiri (2020), Bejjebang (2024) and Baalbek (2026).
