Dario Campeotto (born on 1 February 1939 in Frederiksberg, Denmark) was a Danish singer and actor of Italian descent. He started performing at the age of ten, but his breakthrough came in 1961, when he won the Danish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, in which he finished 5th. Dario Campetto moved to Italy in 1967 with his then wife, acress Ghita Nørby, and their son, Giacomo (born in 1964), but returned to Denmark in 1970 to continue his career in showbusiness.
