Birthe Kjær (born Birthe Kjær Hansen 1 September 1948 in Aarhus ) is a Danish pop singer who since the late 1960s has been known as particularly Danish pop singer . Career Birthe Kjær began performing as a big girl and came in 1960 with a CCG group called 'Sunshine trio' who played all over the country and also managed to get a few optrædner on television. The group broke up, and Birthe Kjær began as an apprentice in a savings bank. She, however, continued to sing, and in 1968 discovered Johnny Reimar her at a dance restaurant and offered her a recording contract. Her first single was "Arrivederci Franz", which gave her an immediate breakthrough, the song debuted at number one on the Danish top. The song was the first in a long line of Danish top, including "Summer and sun," "Tennessee Waltz," "The bright red inflatable boat" and "I never go to a dance without panties." In 1972 she made her debut as a cabaret actress , and in the period 1973 - 76 was Kjær solid cast of "Revue Ville" which Volmer Sørensen's revue in Nykoebing was called in those years. She has intermittently since appeared in various revues, including in Cirkusrevyen in 1990 . She has also performed in plays, primarily in music performances. Kjaer has also made TV. In 1991 she was the host of a number of shows on BBC1 titled With loving greeting , admitted to Bellevue Theatre . In 1995 - 96 she was also the host of TV quiz game love on TV3 .
