Irish songwriter, singer and author, Danny Ellis spent his formative years in the infamous Artane Industrial School; a brutally tough orphanage run by the Irish Christian Brothers in Dublin. He joined the schools marching band as a trombonist and from here his love of music grew. Leaving school at 16 he went on to pursue this passion.
