Dance Bastards are Amy Harrison and Kate "the brains" Wood. Amy and Kate have known each other for years. Previously rivals on the East Yorkshire Junior Disco Dancing championship circuit, they decided to bury the hatchet and form a rock 'n' roll band called MISS CURIE LAW. When they were forced to part due to musical differences and a reoccurring penchant for Battenburg, cherryade and Peter Levy, the Hull music scene found itself devoid of irony, hotpants and schoolgirl rhymes. That is until now. With a little encouragement, a constant nagging from loved ones and a couple of mentions in the NME, they decided to pull it together and make the music they present for you today. They have played shows with the wonderful Jamie T, Soho Dolls and The Reverend and the Makers. They are also currently finishing their Demo with a little help from their beloved Ewan Gordon entitled 'How Do Camus?'.
