Danaher & Cloud, both natives of the Eastern US Delaware Valley, have been making music together for more than 20 years. Over those years, they have come to believe that in every life there is a story, and in every story there is a song. Describing their sound is challenging. You start with Amy’s insightful and adept songwriting, her haunting melodies and stylistic diversity. Add Kate's unconventional artistry on the violin or viola, and Amy’s solid rhythmic anchor on her ever-growing collection of instruments, and their vocals, a blend rich and refined, but still soulful. Their roots and inspiration are rich and diverse, from Irish master storyteller Eamon Kelly to country music's legendary Marty Stuart.
