[NOTE: For our band biography we have chosen to use an excerpt from Aiden Johnson's essay "What Instruments means to me.", for Mrs. Schoekler's 3rd grade English class. Aiden received an A- for his effort. Enjoy.] Instruments is a band. They are from Upstate New York. If I had to use one word to describe them, i would use this one: immense diversity. Instruments is called Instruments because they play a lot of Instruments. Their music is mostly folk, with acoustic rock also. Their songs are sometimes long, sometimes short, sometimes serious and sometimes funny. They play them (the songs) in cofee [sic, probably the reason for the A-] houses, bars, concert halls, at birthday parties, in barns, sometimes in nursing homes, and sometimes outside. Instruments is right now as I write in the studio recording their first CD ever!! called "Make Good Choices." It will be ready to buy in May probably. In the meantime, Instruments likes playing shows.
