Dan Hartley is a singer-songwriter from Tamworth, England. He's lived and studied the past few years in France, the Netherlands and Germany. He's currently writing a PhD. It is said that he wants to be a fusion of Bob Dylan, Terry Eagleton and Rowan Williams. Blue Kimono was recorded after a year in Orléans in 2006, but he's made it available for free download whilst he works towards a new album. The projected release date is early 2011.
