Artist
Daddy's act was a Dutch pop group with members from The Hague and Amsterdam and fronted by Radio Veronica deejay, Leon Kleerekoper, who did not want to be recognized as such and therefore went by the name of John van Doorn in Daddy's Act. The band recorded two Beatles cover versions ('Eight Days A Week' and 'Baby's In Black') for one single and wrote their own material for another, but the Dutch Top 40 remained out of their reach - and Daddy's Act called it quits. Kleerekoper would, later, be succesful as a singer in France, using the name David Alexandre Winter.
