There are two artists with this name 1)DRP (Deutsches Reichs Patent) was formed in 1986 by Tomoyuki Murastige & Kuniyuki Takahashi and can be considered an EBM classic. They released one CD/LP "Electro Brain 586" in 1990 and appeared on several Various Artists compilations before the original line-up disbanded. Kuniyuki Takahashi has recently resurrected the project with Tom Murashige. Kuniyuki is now a producer and sound designer and has since 1997 his own records company named BSC (Bacteria Sound Commune). Tomoyuki is also a producer having worked on the first 2nd Communication album. 2) DRP was a Toronto-bases underground punk band, who gained some local success, but disbanded shortly after.
