Grazzhoppa (Dj,Producer,Turntablist) got infected with a hiphop virus in 1984. After winning several local DJ battles he became EUROPEAN DMC CHAMPION in 1991, BELGIAN CHAMPION I.T.F. in 1998, 3rd in the I.T.F. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in 1998. In the late 80's he formed RHYME CUT CORE with rapper TLP, later joined by DENNIS WURL ( jamaica) and SHOWBIZ (UK). They opened for such acts as GANGSTARR, JERU THE DAMAJA, MC MELLO, BLADE, SON OF NOISE AND DISPOSABLE HEROES OF HIPHOPRISY. RHYME CUT CORE were also HUMO'S 1992 ROCK RALLY finalist. They played with VIBES AHEAD ALLIANCE later WIZARDS OF OOZE and with the 18 piece world music band, MARAKBAR. Through a chance meeting in a Soho record shop in London, DJ GRAZZHOPPA met lyricist BLADE (u.k.). GRAZZ'S unique sound was on the b-side of BLADES 12" "CLEAR THE WAY" entitled "THEY AINT SHIT TO ME". To date, their partnership has produced over 9 records. In the early nineties, GRAZZ joined forces with MR. GREEDY (u.k.) GREEDY-FINGERS PRODUCTIONS. After releasing 4 records they caught the attention of D.C. RECORDINGS and dropped SHADY SIRENS. This double album features CAGE (usa), NECRO (usa)M.F.DOOM & MEGALON (usa) on the mic and TONY VEGAS (u.k.) of the SCRATCH PERVERTS on the cuts. Next followed the first MONSTA ISLAND CZARS (n.y.) 12" called RUN THE SPHERE featuring: KONG, RODAN, MEGALON, X-RAY, KD, M.F. DOOM and M.F. GRIMM with a DISCO DUCK remix on the flip.
