Ricky Lascaze (born 23 November 1992) is an American hip hop DJ and producer from Brooklyn, New York, known professionally as DJ Ezasscul. For a period he was a member of the rap group Supreme & Eaze with Missouri rapper Supreme Sol. He is also the founder of the independent label Jazzy Peace Records. Lascaze began producing music at the age of 14 while in high school. His music career began in 2010 with the release of his debut project "State of Mind" on Digi Crates Records. Released when he was 17 years old, the album reached number 23 on the iTunes Japan Top 200 Hip Hop/Rap albums chart and received mixed responses from listeners. DJ Ezasscul is known for the "Jazz Meditation" series, a trilogy of albums released by Libyus Music and Digi Crates Records. "Jazz Meditation 1", "Jazz Meditation 2", and "Jazz Meditation 3" are primarily instrumental releases that include guest appearances by several rappers. "Jazz Meditation 1" features Jas Mace of The 49ers on the track "Time Passes". The track "When She Smiles" is a collaboration with English producer Thomas Prime.
