The metal band Crash Point Zero was founded in 2006 in Belgorod, Russian Federation by Artem Bankin (guitar player, arranger, sound producer) who was joined by Konstantin Kobzarev on vocals, Konstantin Solodovnikov on drums and Viktor Makievsky on bass. The next year the band were also joined by the second guitar player Sergey Nikolaenko. Originally they played metalcore with some progressive elements. In 2008 Viktor Makievsky decided to leave the band and was substituted by Andrey Kolesnikov who also didn't stay for long. So, in August 2009 Yaroslav Pochernin takes the vacant place of a bass player. By that time the band had already diverged away from metalcore and begun experimenting with such styles as modern metal, alternative metal and progressive metal. A few months after they started recording their début album. But in June 2010 Konstantin Kobzarev left the band due to the serious creative disagreement. The mic was taken by Petr Mayatsky. The work on the album resumed, all lyrics were translated into English.
