Coverdale & Page was a collaboration between David Coverdale, former lead vocalist of Whitesnake and Deep Purple, and Jimmy Page, former guitarist of Led Zeppelin. The partnership began in 1991 and resulted in the release of the album "Coverdale & Page" in 1993. Five singles were issued from the album: "Pride and Joy", "Shake My Tree", "Take Me for a Little While", "Take a Look at Yourself" and "Over Now". The collaboration attracted media attention at the time, including speculation regarding its origins and its relation to Jimmy Page’s previous work with Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant, Page’s former bandmate, publicly expressed reservations about the project in interviews. There were also reports suggesting the possibility of further collaborations involving former Led Zeppelin members, though these did not materialise. The album represented a return to commercial visibility for Page following his earlier career with Led Zeppelin. The duo performed a series of concerts in Japan; however, plans for a broader tour were curtailed, reportedly due to lower-than-expected ticket sales. The partnership subsequently ended. Page later reunited with Robert Plant for the MTV project "UnLedded", while Coverdale continued to perform and record with various line-ups of Whitesnake.
