Corey van de Nes, usually credited as Corey is a Dutch R&B/Soul/Gospel singer. Her first release was the 1996 song ''Day and Night'' which appeared on No Sweat: Dutch R&B Flava alongside artists such as Dignity and Brown Hill. This was followed by a single called ''Everything But Love'' featuring rapper Sadat X. 2003 marked the comeback of Corey, with the release of her single ''It Ain't Me'' where she describes to be inspired by her girls Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston. The single was featured on her indepently released album ''Movin' On''. The album received positive reviews and drew comparrisons to Jill Scott and Leela James.
