Colleen Kelly came onto the dance music scene a few years ago as a vocalist for the EDM production duo Interstate. She is the voice behind their smash hits “I Found You” and “Remember Me”. The hit single “I Found You” debuted on Paul Oakenfold: CREAMFIELD’s, a 2004 compilation, which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Album. At that time, the song was still unsigned. “I Found You” was signed to Armin van Buuren’s label, ARMADA, in 2005. By the time it was officially released, it had hit No. 1 on the DANCEGROOVES.COM general dance music chart. By April 22, 2005 “I Found U” had hit No. 1 on the DUTCH DANCE CHARTS, where it stayed for several weeks. Interstate’s second single with Colleen’s vocals, “Remember Me”, faired even better. Released in February 2006 by Armada and given a glowing review of 4 stars by DJ MAG, “Remember Me” went on to chart on BPM XM Satellite Radio, peaking at No. 10, and on April 21, 2007 “Remember Me” charted on America’s BILLBOARD DANCE CHARTS at No. 24. “Remember Me” was released as a maxi-single on Toucan Cove Records after being a top download on the compilation album “FEMMES FATALES: The 12 Leading Ladies of Electronica”, also released by Toucan Cove and distributed by UNIVERSAL. In addition to her work with Interstate, Colleen sang on the vocal version of 4 Strings hit “Hurricane” which was renamed “Heart of Pain” – also known as “Hurricane Vocal Edit” - and given a limited release on ULTRA Records in December 2006.
