There are (at least) four acts that use the name "Mea". 1. Méa: female DJ/producer/musician/multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. DMA magazine hailed her as "The Madonna of the New Millennium" on its July 2001 cover. 2. Mea: a female-fronted alternative rock band from South Wales, UK. Known for their raucous live shows the band have built a very sold local following and are extending that fan base nationally around the UK. The band released their first proper EP; Candyhead, in October 2008. 3. MEA: a minimal-techno trio of DJs/producers Mario Guertler, Eric Wust and Cihan 'Ali' Guengoer, who have released several albums on ZYX Records. 4. A singer-songwriter from Gabon.
