Formed during the fall of 2002 and calling New York City their home, the ethereal rock trio known as SONOMA AERO have emerged as true champions of their craft. The Bowen brothers (Hunter - Guitar/Vocals and Bryn - Bass/Vocals) have developed a notorious reputation within their local bar circuit for having conversations that spontaneously erupt into fistfights. It is this almost lethal combination of their clashing personalities that fuels the creative energy that surrounds this dramatic band. Taking their cues from such prominent British acts like Stone Roses, Swervedriver, Radiohead, Ride and Catherine Wheel; SONOMA AERO have been able to re-vitalize a powerfully majestic form of popular songsmith which has become almost all but forgotten in this current era of mechanized music production. SONOMA AERO is an organic and raucous young trio who use lavish vocal layers, earthy arrangements and subtle lyrical hooks to lure listeners back into the beautiful and romantic world of dreamy pop music.
