Artist
Cipes and the People was formed in late 2006 by lead singer and songwriter, Greg Cipes. The band has been delivering strong messages of peace, positivity, love, and unity throughout their run as a band. Their music is categorized as reggae, but is actually a unique blend of that, hip-hop, and rock. At one point, Cipes was a member of the MTV television show, Twenty-Four Seven, a short run series. This show gave his fan base a startling jump from 350 people, to over 61 thousand. Some people might recognize him from his extensive voice work for numerous animations, Beast Boy from Teen Titans being his most well known. The groups first album, entitled the Conscious Revolution, is set to drop in early September, with the bands first single, Free Me, being released to radios in August. With their positive messages and catchy lyrics, the band is almost certain to make it big.
