Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She is recognized for her vocal range, artistic reinvention, and the incorporation of varied themes into her music, and has received broad public and critical attention throughout her career. She has been referred to as the "Voice of a Generation" and was named a Disney Legend for her contributions to the Walt Disney Company. After appearing on "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" (1993–1994), Aguilera recorded the song "Reflection" for the animated film "Mulan" (1998) and subsequently signed with RCA Records.
