Christian Pearson is a Charlotte, NC based composer who specializes in progressive metal. Influenced by musical titans such as Dream Theater, Haken, Devin Townsend, Ayreon, Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Arch Echo, Astronoid, Azure, Caligula's Horse, Tchaikovsky, Circus Maximus, Katatonia, Leprous, Symphony X, Vola, Kansas, TesseracT, The Stranger, and Voyager, he has tried to cultivate what makes each of them special in a comprehensive display of layered musicality. He is a self taught vocalist and instrumentalist, covering guitar, bass, and keys, and he has a BA degree in Music Theory. His first two albums, 'Creation' and 'Creation II' are 20 years in the making, as most of the music was written between the years 2002-2010. Thanks to James Randolph and Aiden Clarke from Emporia, and Eli Farmer, the music has finally been released. Christian continues to compose music today, as he actively runs the School of Rock in Cornelius. Be on the lookout for more releases in the near future!
