Altesia is the progressive metal project headed by Clément Darrieu, founded in 2017 in Bordeaux, France. Following the band's inception, Clément began writing songs and until he had compiled enough material for an album. In 2019, Clément recruited Yann Ménage (drums), Alexis Casanova (lead guitar, backing vocals), Antoine Pirog (bass, backing vocals), and Henri Bordillon (keyboard) to the band, completing their first lineup. Altesia's debut album 'Paragon Circus' was released on 11th December 2019, featuring a range of influences ranging from progressive metal bands Haken, Opeth, and Between the Buried and Me.
