Charnel Lechery is a solo project of the Morbid Beauty musician of the same name. Originally using elements of death metal, doom and gothic metal, Charnel lechery was heavily influenced by Type o negative, HIM, early Amorphis, Grave and sisters of mercy. the first demo, The Sadness Killing Me, was partly written in 2010 - 2011 and then put on indefinite hiatus. The Sadness Killing me was completed and partly released in early 2013 under the musician's own label, House Of Lechery Productions. After early beginnings in death doom metal, Charnel Lechery moved further towards gothic rock, taking heavier influence from bands like The Cure, Sisters of Mercy and Catherine's Cathedral, but still continuing to use growled death metal style vocals.
