2009-2009 Chandaka was a one-album project by Jordan Josiah Cable - vocalist and musician of the band Psychopomps. The project began in the fall of 2009 after a four year hiatus from working under his previous solo project Furik, which lasted a successful four years. During the four year hiatus, Jordan began working under the name Cadogan and released one demo and a full-length album and lasted about a year. After his success, he became vocalist of a local death metal band but soon left to continue pursuing a solo career. It wasn't until the fall of 2009 that he found his true form of sound. The music can be described as melodic with death growls and high pitched screaming in a drone metal setting.
