CAW! CAW! is Tim Tsurutani (vocals, guitar), Evan Burrows (drums), Steve Kozak (guitar, keyboard), and Dan Rico (bass, vocals), all of whom went to high school together in Chicago, IL, USA. Their music is described by Jim Derogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times as "gleefully tuneful, ceaselessly energetic, and at times willfully naïve indie-pop." The group formed in 2002, and released their first label release, the "Wait Outside" EP, in September 2008 on Slanty Shanty Records. Since then the band has been touring the US, and will release their debut LP, "Bummer Palace," on May 25th, 2010.
