"Wait Outside" was mostly recorded in January 2008 in Minneapolis, by Arlen Peiffer and Brian McWilliams. Additional recording was conducted in June 2008 at the band's home studio in Chicago. Many of the songs on the EP were previously recorded, with different arrangements, for the 2007 self-released CD-R EP "Under the Piano".
