Cast Madness is composed of Baritone Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums and Vocals. Cast Madness is a Power Trio without a traditional Bass Player. Cast Madness was formed in Saint Louis, MO in the summer of 2009 by Ryan and Mike, and was later joined by Dave in early 2010. The music is written almost exclusively in non-common time signatures. Ryan has over 15 years of experience playing guitar, and has been in a number of bands before: Killjoy (Little Rock, AR; 1995-2000), Integration By Parts (Springfield, MO; 2002-2003), and San Paulo (Springfield, MO; 2003-2004). His equipment includes: Gibson Les Paul (28" scale), Fender Jaguar (27" scale), Mesa Boogie Blue Angel (4x10"), Fender Hot Rod Deville (2x12"). Mike has over 16 years of drumming experience and brings his passion for hard rock and heavy metal directly to the pocket behind Cast Madness. His equipment includes: PDP Platinum 5-piece Maple, 14" Slingerland Snare, 6pc Zildjian Avedis Crash Assortment and 18" Swish, 13" & 14" Zildjian Avedis Master Sound High Hats, 22" Paiste Alpha Rock Ride and 16" Paiste Prototype China. Dave has very limited experience playing guitar, and has no prior experience singing or performing. His equipment includes: ESP Eclipse II, Gibson SG Standard, Peavey ValveKing 212, Audix OM7 mic.
