Cassi Hilbers is 12 years old and lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Cassi is a singer/songwriter and plays a variety of instruments including guitar, bass, piano & mandolin. Cassi started singing as soon as she could talk, but it was not until she was 8 years old, when she moved across the country to Queensland from Western Australia, that she started taking singing lessons. Cassi quickly became interested in the songwriting side of things, as she found it hard to find appropriate songs for young girls to sing, so at the age of 9 in 2011, she wrote her first song 'So it Seems' a song about reaching for your dreams and doing what ever it takes to get there. She has gone on to write many songs, some of which are still hidden away in her songbook, and others she has gone on to produce. In 2012, Cassi was announced as the face of Children's clothing brand 'Pumpkin Patch' for their 2012/2013 Summer Campaign. She recorded two songs for the brand, which were used in TV Commercials and advertising compaigns across Australia & New Zealand. The songs were placed on iTunes with the proceeds going to chairty Cure Kids. Whilst Cassi was in NZ filming video clips for the songs, she was fortunate to be made a Cure Kids Ambassador for the day, and meet a gorgeous little girl who lived in Hospital. On returning she wrote a heart felt song about what she wishes for all children who need a little hope in their lives. This song is called 'Wish Upon a Star.
