Formed in 2003 in the city of Itajaí - Santa Catarina the House has six inmates: Darlan Martins H. Junior - Double Bass, Settings Euclydes da Cunha Neto - Guitar and guitars Julio Cesar Mendonça - Drums, percussion and vocals Marcelo Azeredo - Flute, vocals, percussion and drums Marcio de Novaes - Vocal and guitar Siara Bonatti - Juggling, scenic and vocal interventions Have you ever tried being a kid, questioning like crazy and mixing a good dose of what you dream about reality? His compositions are marked by the influence of Jazz, Brazilian and Latin music in general, medieval music, progressive rock, encompassing varied rhythms in one proposal. The songs start from a dreamy, playful and philosophical vision. The Casa began its artistic journey by passing musically the feelings of the members of the group, seeking in their dreams inspirations for their compositions. The name of the band arose from the idea of the book "The Alienist" of Machado de Assis. This is a Machadian critique of the predominant scientism in the nineteenth century. It addresses the exposure of psychopathological dramas experienced by those in power, the Alienist resolves to put everyone in the hospice to "heal them." Ask what madness is. According to the dictionary, Casa de Orates means House of Freaks, crazy.
