They rock, they groove, they scream like every good rockband should". That’s how a critic describes Cape Canaveral’s music and act. With solid rock and subtle ballads, Cape Canaveral mixes musical styles and emotions as they perform on stage. The Breda, the Netherlands based band kicked off in the summer of 2000 as a trio. As a quartet, the band recorded two demo-albums, which recieved positive attention in the national press. In May 2002, Cape Canaveral won the prestigious "Wraak van Brabant". This victory led to the interest of Wammes Records, a young and independent record label teamed up with Willem Van Kooten´s Red Bullet. The band retreated for 3 weeks in the AudioWorkx studios to record the debut album "When you´re least expected". The album is produced by Werner Pensaert (producer/engineer for K´s Choice, Zita Swoon, Nuff Said, Venus In Flames).
