Kim Chung-ha (Korean: 김청하; born Kim Chan-mi on February 9, 1996), known professionally as Chung Ha and stylized as CHUNG HA, is a South Korean singer and dancer currently under MORE VISION. She first gained public recognition in 2016 after finishing fourth on Mnet’s survival show Produce 101, later debuting as a member of the project girl group I.O.I, which disbanded in 2017. Following the group’s disbandment, Chung Ha emerged as a solo artist and quickly established herself as one of K-pop’s most versatile female performers. Raised in Dallas, Texas for eight years before returning to South Korea, she is fluent in both English and Korean, a background that has shaped her global appeal and performance-driven artistry. Prior to her solo debut, she trained for several years, including time under JYP Entertainment, and auditioned for YG Entertainment before joining M&H Entertainment in 2016.
