Burrowss is Emily Keefauver (vocals, keys), Matt Stuttler (vocals, guitar, organ), Bryan Perry (bass), and Jesse Kornhardt (drums). Burrowss is based out of the Tower Grove neighborhood in south Saint Louis. Their most recent release "Get Scary" in July 2013 was recorded in the band's basement. Influences range from classic punk to 60s pop. "For the six-song Get Scary EP, the band sharpens its focus on hyper and poppy garage rock" - Christian Schaeffer, Riverfront Times http://www.riverfronttimes.com/2013-07-11/music/burrowss/ Their debut album "Don't Take It Slow" was released in May 2012. The album was recorded by Louis Wall (Jumbling Towers, Volcanoes) at the Texas Room. The album was mastered by Carl Saff (Water Liars, Bass Drum of Death). "For Don't Take It Slow, Burrowss tries on a host of rock & roll styles without settling on a single sound, which makes the record sound alternately adventurous and bipolar." - Christian Schaeffer, Riverfront Times http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/rftmusic/2012/09/burrowss_debut_album_review_stream.php "It's hard to nail down one single thing about this record that makes it so good. There's a '90s-leaning aesthetic that works in their favor: The burly "Cut Your Film" with its driving guitar calls to mind Guided by Voices, as does their fuzzed-out vocals on the title
