Bruce trained as a Computer Scientist. (RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, graduated 1994 with Distinction) His father is a music teacher, who used to sing in the Victorian State Opera, and plays Pipe Organ and Piano. Bruce studied Piano, Trumpet, Kit and African percussion over the years. He used to Jam with Muso friends regularly until becoming a father in 2001. He has been in a few bands over the years, mainly playing keyboard. He worked as a Software Developer until 2009, mainly in the finance area, when he was diagnosed with Brain Cancer and permanently retired due to disability. He started composing again in late 2011.
