Brooklyn August is a young band from Minsk, Belarus, formed in 2010. Since the beginning group has changed several times and keeps searching for its sound. In June 2011 the group gave its first concert, when it was still known under the name «Thousands of silent cries», then the group decided to change its name and to begin recording their debut EP album «Voices of the damned» which will appear next month. Lyrics do not contain any political or religious message, the band tries to mix melody with rigidity and to share with the listener all the experiences of contemporary life.
