Brendan O'Reilly is a talented singer/songwriter and guitarist from Sydney, Australia, who has recently performed in Spain and Ireland and is now appearing in Hamburg (mostly on the Reeperbahn.). Brendan graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2000 with a degree in Jazz Performance and since then has travelled the world performing music of various kinds in various countries including Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Thailand, The Philippines, Japan, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, the U.K., Spain and Ireland. He has performed as a jazz guitarist at London’s Soho Jazz Festival and as a sideman for blues harp master Michael Kelly (formerly of the Grateful Dead) on his 2002 Asian tour. For his original pop group UKA he recorded over 30 songs for Chrysalis Music Publishing in London. His songs have been covered by various artists including country group The Burkenbacks, jazz diva Virna Sanzone and US singer Naomi Warne (featuring Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers.) Now Myron is presenting his original music, a stunning collection of pop/rock songs with blues- and jazz-influenced harmonies, brilliant lyrics, and a strong dose of humour. Myron’s songs tell the story of his adventurous life, from growing up in Sydney to the vissicitudes of life and love in the South Pacific, Asia and Europe.
