'Daniel Cope is a 20 year old singer from Harrogate, North Yorkshire. He has been writing music from a young age, plays several instruments including the piano, guitar, drums and violin. He has performed in many bands over the years such as Late Night Cinema (guitar) Money Shot (drums and guitar) as well as A New Sobriety more recently, where he wrote and sang all of the songs. Although he plays mainly acoustic by himself, he has a versatile array of skills and genres open to him and can perform his songs in many different styles. He played on BBC Radio Leeds and humberside at the start of August receiving a large amount of positive feedback. His current music is inspired by artists such as Bright Eyes, Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver and Death Cab For Cutie; and deals with pressing issues such as love, relationship break downs, anti war protests, the bleakness of depression and how people around you can really turn your life around. His Myspace profile has received around 105052 hits and he has become a growing success on popular blogging website Tumblr.
