Bound Perception is an experimental band from Fort Mill, SC formed in late 2003. Primarily consisting of Karl Brewer (synthesizer/keyboard, backup guitar, vocals), Kevin Romito (lead guitar, bass, vocals), and Nick Woehrle (drums, vocals). They are an underground band which performs locally and has played in both Charlotte and Columbia, SC. The band explores many different styles focusing on progressive, experimental, and psychedelic rock. The band has featured a number of passing members, but the core three have remained steady throughout. While still unsigned, the band has announced plans to release an album in early 2009. The only recorded versions of their music available currently are temporary works in progress distributed only to personal friends and family. Being unsigned the band created all recordings underground with personal equipment leading to its distinct lo-fi sounds. The bands quirky nature can be heard in a number of their recordings.
