Boris Titulaer (Venlo, 3rd October 1980) (a.k.a. Bo-Rush & Bo Saris) became involved with music from a very young age. His father, Gé Titulaer, is a well-known jazz musican and teacher at the renowned music academy in Amsterdam. At the age of 17 Boris attended the Music academy in Maastricht. But instead of concentrating on music-theory, Boris focused on getting his voice out there. In 2001, he becomes part of the band Sofuja (which stands for Soul, Funk and Jazz). Sofuja becomes very succesful in Spain. In 2003 Bo-Rush decides to participate in the dutch version of American IDOL and Pop Idol in the U.K. (American Idol in the US, Pop Idol in the U.K. and Idols in the Netherlands is a format created by 19Entertainment where they search for the ultimate Superstar. Audience records were broken in the USA, UK, Germany, Australia, The Netherlands, South Africa, Poland, France and to name just a few. Local versions of the format have aired in more than 30 markets, making it one of the World's biggest and most successful TV formats. Winners from around the world have gone on to become successful artists, having generated several multi-million selling acts around the world) So Bo-Rush believes it's a perfect platform to present his talent to a larger audence. Bo-Rush wins the Dutch IDOLS very easy because of it's impressive first audition until the shimmering final it was very clear that Bo-Rush had every ingredient to become a large STAR. Influenced by soulartists such as Prince
