Bled for Glory is a Clifton, NJ-based band that began forming in January of 2006. Long-time friends and collaborators Matt Lerner (lead vocals) and Erik Schenck (rhythm guitar) decided to start a new project after taking some time off from their last endeavor. They quickly added Rick Nejman (bass) in March and he, in turn, persuaded former band-mate Vinnie Rossi (drums) to jam with the band. Immediately, the chemistry was apparent and the music began to take shape. After adding Tim Condron (lead guitar), the band began playing shows in the tri-state area. In early 2008, Bled For Glory launched its first shot over the bow, releasing a three-song self-titled EP. Later that same year, Rick decided to leave Bled For Glory, citing personal reasons. Local promoter and fellow musician Dan Grossberg began jamming with the band and quickly agreed to be Bled For Glory's new bassist. In a world of carbon copies and sugar-coated pop stars, Bled For Glory strives for musical freedom while maintaining a sense of brutal honesty, passion and conviction. Each member comes from a diverse background and musical taste - all of which is incorporated into their audio assault. It is this combination that produces music, both savage and soothing. However, the most important ingredient is their love of music and the desire to make music with good friends. The songs are at first heavy (often brutal), but through twists and turns come to wide-open and melodic portions, displaying a unique versatility
