Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18th, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American singer-songwriter. She is recognised for her distinctive, alternative pop musical style and vocal delivery, and has become a prominent figure in 2020s popular culture. Eilish first gained public attention in 2015 with her debut single "Ocean Eyes", which was released on SoundCloud and written and produced by her brother Finneas O'Connell. In 2017, she released her debut extended play, "Don't Smile at Me", which achieved commercial success in multiple countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Her debut studio album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" (2019), debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart, and was among the best-selling albums of the year. Its single "Bad Guy" became the first song by an artist born in the 21st century to top the US Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America.
