There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Beware The Ides Of March, hailing from Aarschot, Belgium, was formed in the middle of 2007. Drawing influences from bands such as Architects, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Misery Signals, they bring you the missing link between metal and mathcore with their technical riffary, intense drum pounding and vocal brutality. The band played his last show on the 9th of February 2008. 2) Formerly named, "The Rivalry" they became a full band in 2004. By summer of 2005, the band was playing shows. In October 2005, they had to part ways with one of the guitarists, Bobby, and they played as a 4 peice for a while. By the beginning of 2006, they had progressed to playing shows with bands like A Dozen Furies, (Winners of Battle For Ozzfest) In March, they found a new 2nd guitarist, Austin, with whom they wrote new material with, which was more technical than the old songs In April, they played Plano Center, Dorian Grey CD Release, and drew 122 people to see them, that being the 2nd most amount of people out of all the bands playing there. Recently after that, they changed their name to Beware The Ides Of March. With no knowledge of it being their last show, they played Rock Steady May 27th 2006. Having come so far in the past year, They had shows booked with bands such as- The Tony Danza Tapdance extravaganza, Elysia, My bitter end, and also had plans to travel to west texas to play with bands such as Robinson.
