Hastings is married to Jessa Hastings, and they have two children. Hastings played a significant role in Hillsong UNITED’s “So Will I (100 Billion X),” providing both lead vocals and songwriting talent. His songwriting contributions extend to other notable tracks, including Cory Asbury’s No. 1 hit “The Father's House” and Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude,” collectively streamed over 500 million times.
